ELECTRIC AGGREGATION NOTICE
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Village of Carrollton has approved a community electric aggregation program, selecting Dynegy as the certified supplier for electric generation. This program provides a fixed rate of 9.93¢ per kWh through June 2027, with no early termination fee. If you are eligible, you may be automatically enrolled and do not need to take any action unless you choose to opt out.
Your current utility, AEP Ohio, will continue to deliver your electricity, maintain power lines, and respond to outages, so your service and billing process will remain the same. You’ll still receive a single bill from your utility, which will now include Dynegy’s generation charges. If you do not wish to participate, you must opt out by May 11, 2026, either online, by phone, or by returning the provided form by mail.
If you are not currently enrolled with Dynegy, you may receive a confirmation notice before service begins, and it may take one to two billing cycles for the new rate to appear. Even after the opt-out deadline, you can leave the program at any time without being charged a fee.
